The ancient "giasàra"


The preservation of the bottles within the wine cellar of Kus Restaurant is ensured at a constant temperature and in a carefully controlled humidity environment, a crucial factor for the proper preservation of the product.

The structure of the cellar is located in the 'giasàra,' a rediscovered underground storage area adjacent to the tavern's premises, where snow and ice used to be stored until the arrival of summer.

The restaurant with a view of Lake Garda possesses the last remaining 'giasàra' on Mount Baldo, making it a heritage for everyone. The staff is delighted to accompany customers to visit it, allowing them to savour all the charm of history and tradition.
